• Hello- Thanks so much for checking with us. Yes, metal and foil can be used safely and effectively with the convection cooking feature in a microwave. You can cover a casserole pan when you are using convection. Note: Foil can't be used when using only the microwave setting. If you have any questions, in the future, please let us know. • You cannot use any aluminum foil, i have only used glass cookware. i have not used baking sheet so I wont be able to answer that ?. Love the features that when you are boiling and you have moisture bill up it shuts up the other features on the microwave. Not sure if its meant or a malfunctions.
