You can probably find a more technical answer elsewhere online, but from my experience I don't think I've seen a fingerprint on mine in the last 2 months of ownership. There could be a little luck involved there, but it has not been an issue for us yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the stainless steel surface of the MV is a spot magnet, the whole handle is plastic so it works a bit differently. The glass surface of the control panel is the real issue, as you don't touch the stainless steel surface as much, but every time the time is entered you inevitably leave fat spots.
