“I was considering this dishwasher, but see in the specs that the tub is Plastic? For this price, why would we get a plastic tub? Is there an option to purchase it stainless steel? Plastic is not durable & may have negative LT health effects. disappointing”

Over the years, we have with great success used both plastic and stainless in the design of the tub and door liners in our dishwashers. The decision as to which to use on a specific model is determined by our engineering and design teams for several reasons. We have in the past developed and utilized some of the most durable plastic materials available and have no reservations using plastic in our beautiful Café dishwashers. Our drawer model dishwashers are not available with a stainless interior.
