Hello and thank you so much for considering one of our favorite refrigerators. When opening the upper doors to 90 degrees, you would have full extension of both drawers and therefore, full access to items in these drawers. However, completely removing them is not possible when the doors are only open to 90 degrees. For the bottom doors, with one door unable to fully open, it would prohibit the drawers on that side from fully extending. However, if you remove the door bins, then the drawers are fully accessible. With limited space, we recommend model CVE28DM5NS5. This has a similar freezer arrangement with the convertible drawer but does not require extra space for the freezer as it pulls out.
