A:AnswerHello skey, thank you for your question! In the case of a power outage, you can light the surface burners with a match on your electric ignition gas or dual fuel range or gas cooktop. Hold a lighted match to the burner, then turn the knob to the low position. Use extreme caution when lighting the burners this way.
The oven of your gas range is lit by electric ignition, eliminating the need for standing pilots. 1990 and newer gas ovens cannot be lit without power supplied to it.
We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. – CV
A:AnswerHello - Thanks for reaching out to us. You wouldn't need to purchase a separate kick plate for this range. We recommend that you take a look at pg. 2 of the Installation Instructions for the tools and materials you may need for installation.
Also, please review the "Dimensions and Clearances" section on pg. 3 of the "Installation Instructions" for the required space that is needed to properly install this unit. We hope you find this helpful. Let us know if you have additional questions. All the best! -Don@Café
A:AnswerOven is newly installed in my kitchen. You’ll need every bit of 30”. If you get stainless, do not let deliverers install. Get an appliance contractor. Do thatgently as It scratches VERY easily.
A:AnswerHey there - Great question! Yes, customizable hardware can be purchased separately. The hardware kits include the handles and knobs. A:AnswerHello- Thank you for reaching out with your question. We are happy to help! Downdrafts can only be used on cooktops, not on ranges. It can't be hooked up to downdraft into the basement. While a vent hood is not required by GE, it is recommended. Vents help to effectively remove smoke, grease, odors and moisture from the room. We do suggest to check local codes for any venting requirements. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@Cafe
A:AnswerHi there - This is a wonderful question. This range does have the Control Lock Capability for the oven only. You'll find that the Control Lock Capability applies to both the oven and the burner controls only when both of them are controlled by electronics (digital controls). Since this model has burner knobs that control the cooktop, the Control Lock Capability does not apply to the gas burner controls. We hope this is insightful. If you have any further questions, please reach out to us again. Take care, Kelsey@Café
A:AnswerHi,
Thanks for the questions! We appreciate your interest and we'd like to help. We found that the timer can be used for both the upper and lower ovens at the same time. As for the racks, only the 2 black grates may remain in the oven during the self-clean cycle. Any nickel plated (silver) rack should be removed. If they're left in the in the oven during this process, the racks will tarnish. You can find more info on page 21 of your use and care manual. Here's a link:

A:AnswerHi there - thank you for reaching out. We apologize that the liquid propane conversion kit is missing from your range and for the inconveniences this must have caused. We certainly understand your frustration. The LP (liquid propane) conversion kit can be tricky to locate sometimes. The conversion orifices and instructions can be found on the back of the range, near the regulator. There is a diagram on page 4 of the installation instructions that can be helpful in locating the LP conversion kit: https://files.bbystatic.com/QtM2cMupyLnn4WFnDhVErQ%3D%3D/AD1A6200-5DC2-44B7-84B4-E8BB66233663.pdf. If you look there and then discover that the LP conversion kit is still missing, then we recommend contacting the original dealer that you purchased the unit from, as they may have LP conversion kits available. You can also connect with us on social media if you continue to run in to problems - there, we can easily dialogue back and forth and get this resolved for you. We hope you find this information helpful. All the best, Kelsey@Café
A:AnswerHi! Thanks for your questions, we'd love to help! 1. The unit does not come with special wok grates. We recommend using a flat bottom wok as shown on the bottom of page 9 in the Use and Care manual. 2. This model does not have an air fry feature and is not one of the models that can download it from the new software update. The model does not come with a special air fry pan. Though, a dark cooking pan helps to make your food crispy when air frying. 3. This model does have a temperature probe feature and does come with the temperature probe. 4. Based on the accessories area of the unit's product page, we see that this unit comes with a center grate and LP Conversion Kit. 5. Convection bake uses the bake and broil elements, cycling on/off at temperature, as the fan blows the heated air around the food. Convection bake would be used for cakes, pies, cookies, as well as the same foods you might also cook using traditional bake. The air fry feature uses the Broil element. So Convection would more than likely provide too much heat to substitute for air frying. 6. There is a warming setting available for the upper and lower ovens and there is also a proofing mode for the lower oven only. Hope this is helpful for you! Happy cooking. -Michael@Cafe
