Q: Questiondo they make gas double ovens that are smaller in depth?

• A:Answer Hi there, and thanks for your interest in our products! There are a few different depths for the oven (for example, the depth with the door open, the interior depths of the upper and lower ovens, etc.) but the overall depth of this model is 29 ½”. Most of our ranges are designed for standard depth counters, so they are not usually designed to be smaller than that in depth. We do have one dual-fuel (meaning a gas cooktop and electric oven) double oven model, C2Y486P4TW2, that is slightly smaller – its overall depth is 28 ¼”. Other than that, our ranges will generally be about the same depth as this model’s. We regret any inconvenience that may cause, and your interest in a different depth will be shared with our team for future review and development. Q: QuestionMy touchpad never goes completely black at night. When the oven is not in use, I can see ghosted words and numbers from the LED screen. Is this normal, or is mine defective?

• A:Answer In my older unit the top oven is gas with gas broiler and the bottom convection oven is electric with an electric broiler. However, my installer did not set it up correctly and the convection oven has never worked since I didn't discover it before some mice got to it!

Q: Questiondoes the lower handle touch the floor when lower door is open?

• A:Answer Mine does not, but you can adjust the legs a little bit if yours does. You made need to have someone help tip the oven a little bit because the adjusting knob is plastic. My installer didn't do that and he bent the gear under the full weight of the unit.

Q: QuestionCan the fan that cools the oven be turned off without simply unplugging the oven? I have a recipe that requires the oven to be turned off and rest. The fan cools the oven too quickly and I don’t get the desired results.

• A:Answer You could try pre-setting the upper oven to warm and move the dish there. One of those laser thermometers is handy for checking the temp if the recipe gives you any clues as what it is looking for...

Q: QuestionThe stainless flat top piece of the control panel has small scratches on it from removing the grates.. I have heard that you cannot repair scratches on stainless steel that have been coated with a clear/epoxy coating. Is this model coated?

Luckily, this model does have an oven light feature on the control panel that makes watching the food easy. More information on the broil feature is available on page 16 of the use and care manual. • A:Answer Hey there, This is a great question! We only test our ovens to cook one turkey at a time, therefore we cannot recommend cooking two 20 lb turkeys at the same time. A 30" Freestanding Double Oven Range (and most 2017 and newer Slide-in Ranges) - the lower oven will hold a turkey about 20 lbs. We hope this information is helpful. Stay in touch with us! Mike@Cafe
