The simple answer is NO!!! The sales rep at Bestbuy didn’t even notify us of the requirement. They did sell us the plug! The dryer is a 30 amp 3 and 4 (newer spec) prong plug. That is the connection you need. Here are the specs directly from the installation sheet. “This appliance must be supplied with the proper voltage and frequency, and connected to an individual, properly grounded, 30 amp (minimum) branch circuit protected by a circuit breaker time-delay fuse. Use only a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL listed range cord.” Thus, a plug alone, or “adapter” won’t work. This is a high end range and requires a certified electrician to run a new power cord (we chose 50 amp) from the fuse box (if you have the space!), connected to the joices in the basement, up the wall, into the kitchen, behind the stove, with a new outlet. OMG! This will run you close to 1k, unless you know someone. Then expect a few hundred worth of material and a free meal! Good Luck

The proper electrical requirements for this range are a 120/240V, 30 amp cord and outlet. You can find more electrical information in the installation instructions as well. - JB
