“Where can I get more of the descale powder for this device?”

Hello - we checked the information for this unit, and we recommend using one of our icemaker cleaning solutions that can also be used as a descaler in our expresso machines. The part number for this cleaning solution is #WX08X42870, and you can learn more about this by looking up the part on our GE Appliances website. -- As an alternative, a 1:1 ratio of water and white vinegar can also be used as a cleaning solution for the descaling process. -- We hope this response was insightful, and please reach out to us on social media if any other questions or concerns come up. The manual says you can use a 1:1 ratio of water and white vinegar. That's what I do now that I'm out of the supplied powder.

Just use vinegar and water. You don't need the chemical descaling solution.
