“Very interested in this but the door will not completely open onto our counter (with the door open, the handle would be over the edge). Does anyone who has used this thing it would be an issue? No one seems to have store models so we can't see it.”

Hi there - if the toaster oven is fully and safely placed on top of a counter with the door closed, the oven can still be used since the rack inside the unit slides out for easier placement of your food. Keep in mind, however, that nothing should be placed on the oven door (regardless of going over the counter or not), as this could damage the door. Also, use extreme caution to avoid the weight of the rack potentially being applied to the door.
