Yes, this happens to me too. The metal colored tab on the filter basket needs to be firmly placed in the carafe position. This is a minor design flaw, in my opinion, that results in a mess.

Please try again later.Make sure to rotate the brew basket slider under the brew basket to the Single-Serve position before brewing into a cup or a travel mug so the drip stop valve will stay open. After brewing finish, it is recommend to move the basket slider back to the Carafe position to stop dripping.
