On their packaging, Café Smart describes it as “brushed copper.” Bronze is an alloy consisting primarily of copper though, so I don’t think that they would clash at all. Especially if your kitchen fixtures are a burnished bronze. To be honest our cabinet handles are brushed nickel so I was a bit concerned it would look odd. The handle of the coffee maker doesn’t show up that much because all our appliances are black. Bronze is much less of a contrast. Even if you’re getting the white or stainless steel machine against which the handle would stand out more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It looks coppery to me, doesn't quite have the darker coloration of bronze, but I'm not that good with colors. However, it's definitely a plastic handle, not metal, if that's what you're looking to find out; it thuds when you flick it, there's no metallic sound at all. The only metal part on the carafe is the thermos container portion, which is metal, and necessary for heat retention, which it does very well.
