Hello- Thank you for checking with us. We are sorry to hear you're having this issue, but will be happy to offer some tips and suggestions. We recommend making sure you haven't inadvertently placed the cap on the carafe backwards. If the cap is on the carafe backwards, dripping or leaking will occur. There is an arrow molded on the top of the lid and it should be facing toward the spout. Please check to make sure the cap is on correctly. Also, there can be some coffee left in the carafe that cannot be poured out due to construction of the valve. The top has to be removed by twisting a quarter turn and pulling.
