Is the white model hard to keep clean? null

Yes and no. Where it counts, the outside, is super easy because it just doesn't get dirty. There is a flow spout that goes into the carafe attached to the lid that is made of a hard plastic. This is unfortunately white and looks like it may tint from coffee over time. I've had it for a couple of months and have noticed slight color change but it's inside the carafe. Probably why all coffee makers are black. My SO is a clean freak and she loves this thing. We both just said last night how awesome this machine is. The white looks elegant on the counter and it feels premium. I hope it lasts years.
