A:AnswerHi there, and thanks for letting us know about this. We hate to hear you’ve had a concern with the freezer wobbling when it’s opened, and ice building up in the drawer. We know this must be frustrating, especially as you’ve already had it replaced once. We regret the inconvenience you’ve experienced. While we wouldn’t expect ice build-up, we do anticipate the drawer may seem loose or seem to ‘wiggle’ when it’s opened or closed – this design helps to provide a good seal and proper air flow to the freezer. For the ice build-up, you may want to check the gasket to make sure the freezer door is sealing well; if the gasket has a gap or tear that lets in air, that could result in the ice problem you’ve had. If you’re not able to resolve the ice concern, our service department is available at 1-800-432-2737, and a technician would be glad to assist. We hope this is solved for you soon, so you can properly enjoy your freezer. If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re happy to help any time. -Sarah@Café

A:AnswerHello- Thanks for giving us the opportunity to address your question. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the drain tube. Refrigerators with automatic defrost have a drain tube that carries water from the defrost cycle to a fixed drain pan under the refrigerator. There is no routine maintenance for the defrost drain tube or pan. If you have a clogged drain tube, you might see ice and/or water inside on the freezer floor or on the floor in front of the freezer. You may also see water under the full width drawer in the fresh food section. These models require some disassembly to access the defrost drain tube, so we recommend that you contact GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. We are happy to help!- Kianna@Cafe
A:AnswerHello - we are sorry that your freezer is too warm and doesn't seem to be cooling, even when you reset it. We can understand how discouraging this must be. For the freezer compartment to cool properly, make sure it contains a reasonable amount of food/items to retain the set temperature. Also, you want to check that the door can properly seal and that there is nothing blocking it from doing so. There are some additional troubleshooting tips in an article titled, "Refrigerator, Not Cooling Enough" on our website that you could review. If the issue persists after testing out those options, then we suggest scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your refrigerator. You can schedule service by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET or Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET. We hope these insights help. Be well, Kelsey@Café
