- Answer Hi there, if you have an Xbox one and want to switch to the series x, you will need to buy the Cold War cross-gen bundle. This will allow you to play Cold War on the Xbox one and when you want to switch, you have Cold War on the series X. You can also get the standard version for the Xbox one but you will need to buy the game again when you get a series x. BUY THE COLD WAR CROSS-GEN BUNDLE.
