• You don't need an xbox live account to play the campaign but you do have to have internet to download all the updates the game requires.

• This game cannot be played offline!!! We have all the COD games and upgraded to the XBOX one when it came out. Family enjoys playing the game series. We were previously disappointed when the offline number of participants went from four to two players. Family was looking forward to this for XMAS - extremely disappointed when we couldn't play offline without setting up an account and would only be able to play online. Returning ... end of a great run.........
