I'm pretty sure you do. I've seen gameplay on YouTube of it and it looks great. Either way, if you pre order, you get free items in online multiplayer depending on what version you pre order. The beta releases only a week or two before the game even gets released so I mean in my opinion, it's not really worth pre ordering.
