Hello: The 2 prong, electrical cord is only 24 inches long. Due to its location on the back of the unit, the cord will only reach about 20 inches from the side edge of the oven. You are permitted to use an appropriately rated, (at least 1400 watts), 2 prong, appliance extension cord. They come in all sizes. The oven works well and is quite efficient.
