Carlos The battery grip does NOT come with a second battery. The camera comes with one and the grip can run off of either one or two batteries. I got a grip for my 5D IV and would recommend it. It makes the camera bigger, but I have big hands and it fits me well. Hope this helps:-).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think I answered this a bit too late but the camera body comes with one battery and the battery grip does not. You will need to buy an extra battery. You can get a generic one at Best Buy but I’d suggest purchasing an actual Canon battery.
