“Is it an option on this printer to scan on a flatbed or do all scans have to be put through the feeder?”

• It will sense if there is a document in the ADF (document feeder) and if not, the flatbed is used. Of note, the platen (flatbed) only scans letter size max but the ADF scans up to a legal sized page.

• Pages printed on one side can be scanned as a single document through the feeder. About 10 pages max. Other documents are placed on the flatbed one page at a time, but pages can be assembled into one document.
