• Why would you put an EF adapter on a EF mount camera? It will not work

• No it’s only for mounting the lenses that already work with your 6d mark 2 to the EOS R camera. It’s not a mount for using RF lenses on a 6d mark 2 if that’s what you were hoping for.

• No it doesnot work on 6D mark 2, since the internal pins for EOS R mirrorless are quiet different.
