• Yes, as long as it is an EF/EF-S lens it will work. I have 3 Tamron lenses that work flawlessly with this adapter on my R6.

• If it has an EF mount it will attach to the camera. However, Tamron compatibility is another issue. Check with either Tamron or the Canon site for compatibility.
