No. It's for mounting older Canon EF style lens to the newer R style cameras

No, sorry canon 6d uses an EF mount, this adapter is for RF to EF. Not the other way around. This adapter is only for RF mount type cameras. Most likely you'll have to upgrade your camera if u wanna use RF, thats what i did but tbh thats a good camera and there a large selection of lens between ef and efs.
