This adapter works on Canon R mount cameras so that you can adapt EF lenses. I am able to use all my EF lenses (that I bought to use on my Canon 6D) on my Canon RP. I believe you would have to purchase another adapter to use on the Canon 6D to adapt other type/brand lenses.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is an adapter for EF lenses to work on the new mirrorless cameras such as the R5 and R6. If you are trying to adapt an RF lens to a 6D, this adapter won't work that way.
