You can’t use a EOS EF-S lens (for crop sensor cameras only like the 90D) on a full frame camera like the 6D camera. It will not fully illuminate the sensor. You must use the more expensive EF lenses.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 6D mkII is a full frame camera therefore this lens will NOT work with it. The s in EF-S denotes it is intended only for crop frame cameras. I believe it would physically fit your camera but would produce images with bad vignetting due to the larger field of view on your camera which isn't covered by the smaller sensors this lens is designed for.
