• CANON EOS R can use all the canon flash in the market, they are compatible you dont need an adaptor just insert your canon flash and it will work. dont use any third party cheap flash for it will ruin your circuitries for flashes were engineered for certain products to work well. nikon use nikon flash, sony use sony flash you will not encounter any problem if you just use authentic products. avoid the gray market....

• I personally only like to use off-camera flash, any trigger canon compatible will work for this camera
