The question here is whether you're asking about the camera or the lens. Issues of being good for low light depend more on the lens you're using rather than the camera mostly. I bought my camera with the Canon RF 18-150 is f/3.5-6.3. It can do low light but I'd recommend a tripod - and a professional could do this well. For lowlight, as still a learner, I'd prefer anything below f/2.0 but those lenses will cost more. I love my Canon RF 24mm f/1.8 lens. It costs around $500, but this awesome lens will serve anyone well for both video and photography. It's most capable of doing both! Add this one to your kit and your low light issues just got easier to manage without costing you a boat load of $$$ for the high dollar ones. This is my all-purpose lens now - matches with my former Canon 22mm f/2.0 I used in the past with my Canon M50 - hope this helps! Watch videos! Take a few photography classes! Keep shooting! You'll soon be good to go!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera body itself does well in every situation. The lens however is not the best low light lens. It does better than expected for its f-stop and it being a kit lens. I can take photos around the house at night and it does wonderful, but my 50mm does much better for really low light situations.
