A:AnswerEF-S are Canon's lenses designed specifically for 'crop factor' cameras. The lenses protrude slighter farther toward the camera & have a smaller image circle.
A:AnswerIt is very similar to the T5. It just has a few less features to the T5 but they're basically the same camera. I used the T5 for two years in a class and I just recently bought this camera because it was a cheaper option. It's also really good if you're just starting out in photography.
