“Does this camera have sports mode? I am looking for a camera for nice pictures at various events but particularly sporting events and taking motion shots. Does it do good in various types of weather (sunny, cloudy, etc)?”

Yes it has sport mode. We haven’t used that mode a lot but we have been very impressed with the quality of the pictures this camera takes. We have loved it!
