Was this camera supposed to come with a manual? null

It comes with a tiny getting started guide you can also get here ( https://cam.start.canon/en/C002/manual/html/UG-00_Before_0040.html ) but you're not missing much if you don't have it. There are lots of excellent YouTube videos ranging from a few minutes long to hours that will teach you however much detail you want to learn about the camera https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Canon+T8i+Tutorial
