A: Much like what you mentioned with the 90D (which I also own,) the T8i has 45 Point Cross Type AF. Should be a pretty big jump up from the 9 point AF that you are currently running. Between that and the Digic 8 Processor, you won't be disappointed!
Q: When will this camera be released?
A: Canon announced that the release of the camera would be pushed back to the end of June.
Q: Is this camera good for action shots? ( i.e sports, wildlife, etc)
A: Yes I think it's a good camera for action
Q: Is this a good camera for family videos and family portraits?
A: Yes it is !!!
Q: can you use this camera to vlog with???
A: Yes you can. Canon makes a slightly smaller one - I think it’s the SL3 - that might be better, especially if you sit it at the center of a ring lite.
A: I’m no expert but the t7 is an amazing starter camera and will absolutely do very well with what you need it for the t8i is great as well just a little newer and a few more bells and whistles. Hope this was helpful
Q: Was this camera supposed to come with a manual?
A: It comes with a tiny getting started guide you can also get here ( https://cam.start.canon/en/C002/manual/html/UG-00_Before_0040.html ) but you're not missing much if you don't have it. There are lots of excellent YouTube videos ranging from a few minutes long to hours that will teach you however much detail you want to learn about the camera https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Canon+T8i+Tutorial
