Yes, you can set this up in the printer options menu, and define the Black & White printing as a standard.

After you select "Print" there's usually an option to select color or B&W, on the right side of the page. Sometimes you need to click on "printer properties" and under the "general" tab you'll have the option to select color vs B&W. In addition, I'm pretty sure on the printer itself you can set it to print B&W as the default choice. To find that out, I'd just consult the online manual. You may be able to set the color vs B&W as default in your printer properties, as well.
