• The 240 and the 240XL are interchangeable. The 240XL has more ink in it.

• All these "yes" answers. Try it, it doesn't work. I've got a Cannon that uses the 275 Black Cartridge. Bought a 240XL based on this info.....it doesn't fit in the cartridge holder....too tall!
