• Yes, it does the same, and easy to use it anywhere, but battery is not included, an extra $99 in canon site.

• It comes with ac adapter. But no Battery. You can buy a separate battery that Canon makes to attach on the back of printer. It's an external battery. You can also connect this printer to your laptop with the cable from the previous model the ip-90 or ip-100 Hope this helps.
