I can’t answer for card stock but I use this printer primarily for labels (hundreds of pages per month) and it does a terrific job of them. This is my second printer, I had major problems with the first one so I ended up replacing it and I have had no problems since. If you use the back feed, be sure your pages are straight or it can jam and that’s where the trouble begins. I use photos on many of my labels and the quality is excellent.
