• This is an inkjet printer, using ink rather than toner. The Manufacturers claim is 6,000 pages of black text or 7,700 pages in color. As there are three bottles of black ink included, you could print up to 18,000 pages before you would need to purchase more ink.

• It comes with 3 Black 1 of each color (3). They say it will print over 6000 pages black and 7000 pages color. It should last for over a year. I replaced a HP 7640 that I signed up for instant ink and it cost me $9.99 per month. like $120.00 per year. Ink for the Mega tank $ 54.00 per year.
