• A:Answer Yes, it works as a stand-alone copier. I bought one for use in a house that has no internet, wi-fi, cable or other electronic connections. We plugged it in, set it up, and it works perfectly as a copy machine. The ink cartridges cost more than the machine, it copies slowly, but other than that, it works with no complaints.

• A:Answer After I submitted this question, I read the instructions for the printer I had received and found that for printing from a PC, a cable connection can be used and that is what I am using right now. For phones and tablets I believe wireless is the only method possible.
