Does this printer support 5ghz wifi connections? null

The Canon PIXMA TR8520 ink jet printer can only connect wirelessly using 2.4GHz connection. It does NOT support a 5GHz connection. Please refer to https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Wireless-Networking/Pixma-TR8520-and-connecting-to-2-4ghz/td-p/289760 Even if it could connect at 5GHz, I don't see what you would gain since the connection is so much faster than the printer.

When I did the set up it seemed to only recognized my 2ghtz wifi connection. I have both 2ghtz and 5ghtz available. I am not that computer savvy, but the 5ghtz was not listed as an option for me.
