No, you don't need to connect to a computer, but you will need to connect to something, like a tablet or smartphone. When you select the wireless network it will tell you to load the app into your device, if not using a computer/laptop. Then follow the instructions shown on the device to get it connected.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Everything at my home is wireless. I have a MacBook and I can also connect my iPhone and print as well. I do not have a phone line connection or I don't have a faxing needs so I cannot respond to that.
