• Yes... it can scan at 600 dpi. To change this setting, using the Canon scanner software, simply go to photo scan and change the resolution to 600 dpi. I personally prefer using PaperPort software. Using PaperPort, simply switch to advanced mode and you should see the option to change the output resolution to 600 dpi.
