• Hi Beth654, Though I haven't done it yet the printer CAN handle legal sized paper. Sadly the on-line manual is confusing because I think they are calling Legal size (8.5x14) A4 which is technically the code for Letter Size (8.5x11). It tells you that both letter size and A4 can be loaded into the front cartridge (I say paper tray, they say cartridge.) Pull out the extender when using the legal size in the front cartridge because it will be obvious it won't fit snugly INSIDE the carrridge like letter-sized does. You might also be able to have it feed through the back (where photo paper goes) but I'm not certain about that. Be patient the first time you pull out that front cartridge/tray; The overzealous person with me nearly broke it. Common sense and patience. And good luck. I love the printer so far!
