would imaging use of the same paper tray as copy paper but I don't know specifically about the photo paper(never used the feature). It will print directly to the CD/DVD disc but must be printable disc. It will auto-format if you are copying an existing disc.

Please try again later.I could be wrong, but I think what the real question was whether a CD/DVD could be fed into the printer, similar to paper, because the person asking the question is looking for a printer that can print on the front sides of the disks. It is something that some inkjet printers use to be able to do, and there were even a few software titles that worked with it. However, I highly doubt this printer, or most of the modern printers will support doing something like that because of the paper paths
