Yes, the Canon PIXMA TR8250 printer easily prints scaled copies of original documents/pictures. 1) Lift the scanner lid, and then put your document face down snug against the back and left sides of the glass. 2) If the main display is blank, tap it. You should see the main "COPY, FAX, SCAN, PRINT, plus other icons" HOME screen. If you don't, tap the HOME choice (house-like symbol). 3) Press the COPY choice 4) Press one of the "copy" choices (e.g., "Standard copy"). Hint: drag your finger on the screen to show more choices. 5) Press the PREVIEW choice and then wait for the printer to scan your document. It will show a small replicate of your original document. 6) Slide the white square or tap the up/down arrow choices to adjust the size. 7) Press the OK choice. I've attached pictures of the magnification screen and a scaled down copy. Hope you like the printer as much as we do!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sadie ~ I don't know how to answer " will this model allow for enlarged or reduces copies". If your question is will the copier scan and either reduce or enlarge an original, the answer is yes, and the results are terrific. I'm not sure if the quality of a tiny reduces/(reduced) original could be enlarged without significant loss of resolution. By the way, the user's manual is available for reference or downloading on the Canon website. It is a whopping 598 page pdf file that I'm trying to get through. (It's supposed to be read before using the copier!) If you need more info than I've provided, I'm sure you can find the answer in the manual. ~Sara
