Yes... it has the auto document feeder. As far as scan speeds, that completely depends on the settings you have selected. For my needs and just general scanning it goes fairly fast. I often find it pulls some of my sheets in crooked, which is aggravating... although scan QUALITY is very good. Hope this helps?
