does this print on dvds that have labels? null

YES it does print on blank PRINTABLE DVDs. This is the only reason I purchased this item. You can also print your own paper labels, which I have not done. It does a fabulous job printing on blank PRINTABLE DVDs ! I recommend the 50 pack Verbatim DVD-R blank PRINTABLE discs #97167 that print all way to the center hole. Don't buy the 100 pack Verbatim DVD-R blank PRINTABLE #95153 discs, because you cannot print all way to the center hole. Check the picture on the label ! ALSO ---DO NOT buy the Verbatim LIFE SERIES regular blank DVDs. I had many problems using these discs ! My DVD burner starts to burn for about 5 minutes or less, then shuts off and an "ERROR" message appears on the screen and the disc is ruined.

This printer will only print on CD's or DVD's that are inkjet printable. There is a tray to put them on for printing.
