A:AnswerI would bring it back to Best Buy for a return/ replacement or contact the manufacturer under warrantee. They might refund you so you can get another one or have you send them the camera for a replacement. Best Buy is great about returns
A:AnswerYES. But be aware that not all countries have the same conversion let alone plug size, shape or length of prongs. If you are traveling to multiple countries I suggest the G-force all in one adapter (it is the one I used). It also has two USB ports so it was like have 3 plugs for my electronics. I was centrally located for 3 months in Austria and for that I simply went to the media store there and bought a simple inexpensive converter/adapter which was perfect. So that may be an option for you as well if you are going to one country.
