Yes. It depends on your purpose of recording. If you are recording it for personal purposes, then you can do it with what you have in this camera. If you are doing it for professional purposes, you should use external mic for better audio recording.

Near by sounds and wind come in strong so I have to wonder whether you would be satisfied with the audio since you probably want the music, not necessarily the rustle and calls of nearby concert goers. Although I understand it will do about a 30 minute video we have never shot more than a couple minutes, which is less than the average concert song. If concerts are the main use I have to wonder whether a super-zoom camera is really what you want. They can be hard to hold steady on a long zoom and I see you holding it up above a crowd and trying to steady on a band using the tilt view screen. Not an easy shot.
