“When I test this model at the store, using a lot of zoom, it can take a long time for the camera to focus. If my hands are not perfectly still and the camera moves around, the focus will keep coming and going. Does it do this in the real world?”

Yea. I'm returning the camera because of this issue. Sometimes it will never focus, the little square will keep bouncing around and I can't get it to bracket around the subject I want to photograph. This is the Canon SX 720.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Happly no problems with my camera. It does take a little longer to adjust than my daughters camera. But not that long. I'm never perfectly still, and photos are good.
