“When recording video, can you move the zoom? and if you can does it interrupt the sound? Also how is the sound quality? say at a concert the camera I have now I can not adjust the zoom while recording and the sound quality is terrible.”

You can adjust the zoom while shooting video. The sound is not interrupted by this. Sound is not bad.
