I believe that best buy mistakenly labeled this. It is not an "L" lens. My best guess is that they meant to copy the "IS", meaning image stabilization
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best Buy refuses to correct their typographical error. I have notified them of the error quite some time ago and the error persists. It should be f/5.6-8 rather than f/5.6-I. Looks like they sold you an aperture of f/U.
